What I love about photography is its ability to hold a moment still, when looking at a moment on a photograph you are like a time traveller, transported back to that time in your life. I think of photography as savouring your most precious memories so that you can feel them once again. One phrase I think about often as both a photographer and a mother is that time waits for nobody, especially when you have young children. In the blink of an eye they are all grown up and you look back and wish you had more moments you could think of. That is the beauty of a photography shoot, we create actual memories behind the camera, rather than posed clicks!

For example, in a recent 1st birthday cake smash, little Arlo pulled the cake over onto himself and it had his parents and I stitched up with laughter! Looking at these photo's of him will always remind me of the precious time I spent capturing moments for one of my gorgeous families!
